Whole-House External Refurbishment: Render, Gable Glazing & New Levels

A house transformed from the outside in. The elevations are rendered white, a large glazed gable and picture windows replace what was there, and the sloping site is resolved with a raised terrace, retaining walls and steps rather than left as an awkward bank.
The block-paved drive and the terrace are part of the same job — which is the point. The external works, the render and the glazing were programmed together, on one scaffold, so the house was finished rather than handed over with the garden still to sort out.
